LEGO Book Nook: five boxes in sixteen months, and a market that measures only one

The 11379 Bookshop, available October 1, 2026, is the fifth LEGO Book Nook in sixteen months. The line has become a shelf staple; what the market says about it is far more discreet. Of the four boxes already out, only one is measurable. That's already information.

The Bookshop is the series' biggest and most expensive box (€129.99), and arrives sixteen months after the Hogwarts Express (June 2025, 832 pieces, €99.99). Piece count describes these boxes; we don't use it to judge their price. What matters to a collector is shelf space, theme — and what the market pays.

What the market says

10351 Sherlock Holmes0No sale recorded
11379 Bookshop—Not out yet

The Balrog, with exactly 5 new sales, resells 31.3% under its price: it's the only publishable market price in the series, and it sits at the threshold, so it's fragile. The Dumbledore's Office has 4 sales (an apparent positive gap, not published for lack of sample), the Hogwarts Express one, the Sherlock Holmes none. In other words: of four boxes out, the market doesn't yet have enough to conclude on three.

A market that trades little isn't a market that pays badly: it's a market that hasn't spoken yet. We don't fill that silence with a guess.

How we measured

  • Completed new sales, BrickLink Europe, euros, readings from July 1 to September 12, 2026, threshold of 5 sales.
  • No projection on the Bookshop: it isn't out.

My take

Five boxes in sixteen months, two ranges (Harry Potter and Icons), and a market that has spoken on only one. I don't draw a rule from a sample of five sales. What I note is the speed: LEGO releases Book Nooks faster than the market can measure them. For a collector, it's a good moment to record what you paid — because the price paid is the one data point no market will give you.
