LEGO advent calendars: a year on, they resell 22 to 40% under their price — the 2025 figures
€26.99 or €34.99: the five 2026 LEGO advent calendars carry low prices, and you buy them to open 24 little doors, not to resell. But a question comes back every autumn: what are they worth the year after? The 2026 calendars have no sales. The 2025 ones do — and what they say is clear.

Three 2025 calendars have at least 5 new sales. All three resell below their price: from −21.6% (City) to −40.1% (Star Wars). Three others are too thinly measured to appear: Friends has no sale, Disney and Harry Potter have 3 each.
These readings date from June to August 2026 (6/25, 6/29, 8/18): off-season, months after the period when you open a calendar. The 2025 list price comes from our internal catalog, to be double-checked.
How we measured
- Completed new sales, BrickLink Europe, euros, threshold of 5 sales. No market price for the 2026 calendars: they aren't sold yet.
- We describe what happened for 2025. We infer nothing for 2026.
My take
An advent calendar is a seasonal object: you buy it to open it, and what the 2025 market says shouldn't disappoint anyone buying it for that. What this table changes is the autumn talk about "small prices that resell": the figures don't support it. If you want a sealed calendar, know that the market didn't pay its price the following year. If you open it, the question doesn't arise.
