LEGO Marvel and DC 2027: new sets move to 67xxx — what it changes for tracking your collection

What's cross-checked: DC 2027

These three references appear with the same figures at Hoth Bricks and Stonewars (pages checked October 4, 2026). That's the "cross-checked" level: two independent outlets, no official LEGO listing yet. Only the 67012's name differs between sources, hence our generic description.

What's only half there: Marvel 2027

Both outlets now place Marvel 2027 in 67001-67023 and agree on inventories. They differ by €10 on prices. The number is cross-checked, the price isn't: we keep no Marvel 2027 price until an official listing exists. A reveal of the 67006 is announced for October 8 by a single source.

What doesn't change

• Your old sets keep their number: it's new releases that change range.
• Harry Potter stays in 76xxx in 2027 (76479 to 76492 per Hoth Bricks): the 76 range doesn't disappear.
• A prefix is a range, not a theme. "76" never meant "superheroes".

Three reflexes for your collection

• Search by exact number. The number uniquely identifies a set, it doesn't tell its theme.
• Never filter on a prefix. A spreadsheet filtered on "starts with 76" will miss 2027 Marvel and DC sets.
• Sort by theme. The theme follows the set, whatever its number range.

My take

This change won't push a single set up or down. It does, however, break makeshift inventories: formulas that infer the theme from the number, prefix filters, "76xxx = superheroes" tabs. Exactly the kind of detail that turns a spreadsheet into a source of silent errors. The right tool sorts by theme and finds a set by its exact number, and that's all you need from it.
