LEGO Star Wars UCS: 3 leave at the end of 2026, 3 rumoured for 2027 — what the European market does with UCS
At the end of 2026, three Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets leave the LEGO catalogue. For 2027, three others are announced by cross-checked rumours. It could look like simple renewal. Looking closer, it's mostly a rotation of slots in the range, and the European market says interesting things about today's UCS.

The retirements come from HelloBricks (September 14, 2026): production stopped, gone once stock runs out, before or after December 31. The three 2027 UCS come from Stonewars (October 1, 2026, citing the leaker buggyleaks) and also appear on Hoth Bricks' 2027 rumours page. No price, piece count or official image exists for them: we publish none.
A Clone Wars slot frees up and gets filled
The 75484 doesn't replace the Venator: one is a 5,374-piece cruiser, the other a fighter. But both come from the Clone Wars. When the Venator leaves, a "Clone Wars" slot frees up in the UCS range; Anakin's Interceptor takes it back about eight months later. Stonewars also notes LEGO releases three UCS a year, as in 2025, and that 2025's 75417 AT-ST had only 1,513 pieces: UCS sets are no longer necessarily monsters.

Thirteen UCS released since 2017 pass the 5-new-sales-in-six-months threshold. Their median is 39 months of stock. The three leaving at end 2026 are above: 52 months for the Venator, 60 for the Falcon, 74 for the Barge. On price, 7 of the 9 UCS released since 2020 sell under their LEGO price, the Venator most clearly (−29.5%).
These figures describe today's market, while these sets are still on sale everywhere. They say nothing about what will happen after retirement. And we don't compare the three leavers with UCS retired years ago: that would suggest a trajectory nobody can guarantee.
At Cault
The three leavers are among the most common sets in the Cault database: the Falcon in 9 collections, the Barge in 6, the Venator in 5, out of 69 LEGO collections tracked on October 4, 2026. It's not a representative sample of French collectors, it's a snapshot of our base.
How we measured
- UCS list: Promobricks (UCS since 2017), cross-checked with the Cault database. 17 UCS, 13 with at least 5 new sales.
- Months of stock: new listings divided by monthly new sales. BrickLink Europe readings from June 28 to September 28, 2026.
- Gap to LEGO price: only for UCS released since 2020, against the Cault catalogue list price (current price for the 75313).
My take
A retirement is a date, not a price forecast. As long as a UCS stays available at retailers, its new market is crowded: 300 Falcons on sale for 30 sales in six months is a lot. What happens afterwards, nobody knows, and I distrust any content claiming to. If you own one of the three leavers, the most useful thing is to track its market price over time rather than bet on it.
